Responsible Beverage Service Training

As of April 1, the city of Napa Police Department requires that all persons serving or selling alcohol at special events in the city receive training in Responsible Beverage Service. This requirement applies to all special events, whether they are commercial, for-profit events or nonprofit events presented as fundraisers. Organizations can access an array of resources to assist in compliance by accessing Responsible Beverage Service in the Quick Links menu at www.cityofnapa.org. Resources posted there include the city’s conditions of operation, a special event planning guide, a calendar listing training opportunities and a list of frequently asked questions.
